Empowering children and their families. To date, we have given 47 scholarships to students in South Florida & provided over 700 school bags and supplies to the underprivileged children of St.Lucia.
Since 2012 Children of Helen Alliance Inc. has instituted a campaign to help our underprivileged families/students in St. Lucia with basic educational supplies. This program has allowed us to provide many St. Lucian students with book bags, notebooks, pencils, pens, and other school materials. We hope to break down some of the financial and material barriers that prevent underprivileged children from completing school to the secondary level. It has been proven that with a good solid education, the life of a family can be improved significantly. Hence, why we require your support.
To increase the number of students we impact and to strengthen our organizational capacity, we require more funding from donors such as yourself. We seek your sponsorship or donation for our S.M.A.R.T. FUTURE PROGRAM. Any amount you can donate to this cause will be amplified in the future lives of these students. Our goal for 2023 is $5,000, which will be utilized to provide educational possibilities for these students with hopes of a better tomorrow for themselves and their families. We are asking for your generous support in making this project a success. With your help, we can continue to make this positive contribution to our Saint Lucian community.
About Us
Children of Helen Alliance was incorporated on December 20th, 2010 as a non-profit organization under the provisions of chapter 617 of the Florida statutes, with 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. The organization was founded by Saint Lucian residents in Palm Beach, Florida. We created this organization with the intention of making positive contributions to our communities via educational, social, and cultural avenues. To date, we have awarded 47 scholarships to students of Caribbean heritage from Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade Counties. We also hold an annual school supply and bag drive, provide care packages to the elderly, feed the homeless, assist in other worthy causes and keep the Saint Lucian culture alive via the execution of several cultural events.
